METHI MALAI CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS:

FOR MARINATION:

  1. Chicken 500 gms
  2. Finely chopped methi leaves 1 cup
  3. Kasoori methi 4 tbsp
  4. Salt and turmeric as needed
  5. Curd 1 cup
  6. Ginger garlic paste 3 tbsp
  7. Cashew, almond and melon seeds paste 1/2 cup
  8. Chicken masala 1 tbsp
  9. Kashmiri Chilli powder 1 tbsp
  10. Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  11. Garam masala powder 1tsp

REST NEEDED

  1. Chopped onions
  2. Oil
  3. Milk 2 cups
  4. Cream 1/2 cup
  5. Coriander leaves to garnish

METHOD:

  1. First clean the chicken pieces and add the marination as mentioned above and mix well. Keep aside for 1 hr.
  2. Now in a kadai add oil and chopped onions and fry till it changes its colour.
  3. Now add the marinated chicken and mix well. Cook till done.
  4. Now add milk and in cook in slow flame till gravy thicken.
  5. Then add cream and mix well.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti/ rice.
