METHI MALAI CHICKEN
INGREDIENTS:
FOR MARINATION:
- Chicken 500 gms
- Finely chopped methi leaves 1 cup
- Kasoori methi 4 tbsp
- Salt and turmeric as needed
- Curd 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste 3 tbsp
- Cashew, almond and melon seeds paste 1/2 cup
- Chicken masala 1 tbsp
- Kashmiri Chilli powder 1 tbsp
- Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder 1tsp
REST NEEDED
- Chopped onions
- Oil
- Milk 2 cups
- Cream 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves to garnish
METHOD:
- First clean the chicken pieces and add the marination as mentioned above and mix well. Keep aside for 1 hr.
- Now in a kadai add oil and chopped onions and fry till it changes its colour.
- Now add the marinated chicken and mix well. Cook till done.
- Now add milk and in cook in slow flame till gravy thicken.
- Then add cream and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti/ rice.
